In Hong Kong (CNN) On Sunday, Chinese leader Xi Jinping committed to guide his country through serious difficulties in order to achieve national renewal, promoting a nationalistic vision that has put China on a collision course with the West.
Xi made a confident speech at the opening of the 20th Party Congress, where he is likely to win a record-breaking third term in office. He also emphasized China's increasing power and influence during his first ten years in office.
But he also emphasized the dangers and difficulties the nation faces again and time again.
The past five years, according to Xi, have been "very uncommon and extraordinary," with China being guided by the Communist Party through "a dismal and difficult world environment" and "great risks and obstacles that arrived one after another."
The Covid-19 epidemic, Hong Kong, and Taiwan were the initial obstacles that Xi named, all of which he believed China had overcome.
Xi claimed that the Chinese government had engaged in "major struggles" against "independence forces" in the island of Taiwan, which Beijing claims as its own territory despite never having held it under its control, as well as "protected people's lives and health" from Covid and turned Hong Kong from "chaos to governance," among other accomplishments.
As a change from prior addresses, Wen-Ti Sung, a political scientist of the Australia National University's Taiwan Studies Program, noted that Xi's choice to bring up the Taiwan issue early in his speech conveys a "newfound urgency on making progress on the Taiwan issue."
When he brought up Taiwan again later in his speech, Xi received the biggest and longest round of applause from the almost 2,300 hand-selected delegates in the Great Hall of the People.
His declaration that China would "strive for peaceful reunification" was followed by a somber caution that "we will never promise to renounce the use of force and we reserve the option of taking all necessary measures."
The reunification of China and the revitalization of the Chinese nation are on the historical agenda.
Our nation must be fully reunited," Xi declared amid thunderous applause.
A subtly veiled allusion to the deteriorating relations between China and the West, which have been made worse by Beijing's tacit backing for Moscow following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, was made by Xi when he also emphasized the "rapid changes in the world situation."

In an apparent shot at what Beijing sees as a US-led global order that needs to be overturned, he said China has "taken a clear-cut stand against hegemony and power politics" and "never wavered" in opposition to unilateralism and "bullying."

Setting a rough direction for the next five years, Xi said China would focus on "quality education" and innovation to "renew growth" in the crisis-hit economy. "We will accelerate our efforts to achieve greater independence in science and technology," he said in a comment just months after China's devastating crackdown on the private sector and big tech companies. Xi also pledged to accelerate efforts to build the People's Liberation Army (PLA) into a "world-class force," pledging to strengthen the PLA's ability to protect national sovereignty and build a strategic deterrent. He also urged the PLA to step up training and improve its "victory capabilities."

Xi's speech is sprinkled with the Chinese word for "safety" and appears about 50 times. He called national security "the basis for the rebirth of the Chinese nation" and urged improvements in security "in all dimensions", military, economic, and at home and abroad.

Another of his focuses was Marxism and ideology. "I don't think the ideological climate will loosen in the next five years," said Victor Shi, an expert on China's elite politics at the University of California.

Dali Yang, a political scientist at the University of Chicago, said the instructions outlined in Xi's opening remarks are a continuation of his previous policies. By emphasizing challenges and struggles, he justifies "the need for a strong party and its great leader."

cementing power
The week-long convention kicked off Sunday morning amid heightened security, escalating zero Covid restrictions and a frenzy of propaganda and censorship. The convention is the Communist Party's most important meeting in decades and seeks to cement Xi Jinping's position as China's most powerful leader since the late Mao Zedong, who ruled until his death at the age of 82. will have a major impact on the world as it strengthens China's international influence with a confident foreign policy and rewrites the US-led world order.
Meetings are most often held behind closed doors throughout the week. When delegates reappear at the end of Congress next Saturday, they will hold a ceremonial vote to approve Xi's working report and approve changes to the party's constitution. The delegates also elect the party's new central committee and appoint the party's top leader, the Politburo, and its standing committee after party leaders make behind-the-scenes decisions prior to parliament. to hold its first meeting the next day. The Games will be a moment of important political triumph for Xi, but also a time of potential crisis. President Xi Jinping's insistence on an uncompromising zero-corona policy has fueled public dissatisfaction and stunted economic growth. Meanwhile, his "endless" friendship with Russian President Vladimir Putin further strained Beijing's relations with the West after Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.

Zero Covid
Ahead of Congress, officials across China have drastically tightened restrictions to prevent small Covid outbreaks, imposing sweeping lockdowns and increasingly frequent Covid testing in a handful of cases. Nevertheless, infections with the highly contagious Omicron subspecies are increasing. On Saturday, China reported about 1,200 infections, including 14 in Beijing.

Public outrage over zero new coronavirus surfaced on Thursday in a very rare anti-Chinese demonstration in Beijing. Photos online showed two of his banners unfurled on a busy flyover denouncing Xi and his policies before being removed by police.
Say no to coronavirus testing, yes to food. No to lockdown, yes to freedom. No to lies, yes to dignity. No to the Cultural Revolution, yes to reform. No to great leaders, yes to votes. Don't be a slave, be a citizen" banner. “Strike, expel dictator and traitor Xi Jinping,” read another article. The Chinese public has paid little attention to the Communist Party Congress. They have no say in reorganizing the country's leadership or formulating major policies. But this year, many hoped Congress would be the turning point in relaxing China's coronavirus measures. But many recent articles in party mouthpieces suggest this may be wishful thinking.People's Daily called

Zero-Covid the "best bet" for the country It is sustainable and must be complied with." On Sunday, Xi defended his Covid policy against his highly controversial and economically damaging Zero.
In response to the sudden outbreak of Covid-19, we have put people and their lives first and have tenaciously pursued a dynamic zero Covid policy to wage an all-out people's fight against the virus. Alfred Wu, an associate professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, said Xi's words implied that "it is impossible for China to change its zero-corona strategy in the near future.

Does God Have a Physique?

Does God have a physical? This question is very difficult to answer with evidence from research in physics, biology, anthropology, archeology or astrology. This answer can only be inspired from one's spiritual conviction and faith. Based on information from the Bible (Old Testament) or the Torah, humans know that the universe and all its contents as well as living things on this earth were created by God (Allah/Elohim).

If we examine carefully, the information written in the Torah, we can know that God reveals Himself to humans in various ways.

Saint Thomas Aquinas stated that God exists everywhere (Omnipresent) in 3 ways, namely His essence, His presence and His power.

First, God exists by His essence in all things, meaning that God gives existence to everything "from nothing to being". This shows that God is the beginning of all that exists. The essence of God as the Creator of all things, from nothing to being.

Second, God is in all things with His presence, meaning that everything created is known/known perfectly by Him. Therefore, every action and movement of our hearts is known to God more perfectly than we know ourselves. Because God is present in all of His creation, humans must live in holiness. This means that you are not allowed to do things that God forbade (See 10 Laws of the Law) in the Old Testament. And in this final era, humans must live in two laws of love, namely loving God and loving fellow human beings.

The three Gods exist in all things with their power, meaning that everything created is subject to His arrangement and power. The power of God makes all of His creation move and act according to the arrangement of God's Power. For example: This universe and everything in it, namely: galaxies, planets, stars, sun, moon, and other celestial bodies move according to the space and time that God established at the beginning of creation. Likewise, living things grow and reproduce according to the decree of God's power. In particular, humans must submit and obey the commands of God's power, which is to do God's will according to His decrees in order to have eternal life in Heaven with God at the end of life, namely in the final judgment, God's decision to come back to this earth. God's power is manifest especially in God's miracles and supernatural interventions. Luke 1:37 says, "nothing is impossible with the Lord".

God exists and is present in spiritual beings in a special way, the other is by His presence in all things with the three kinds of existence of God above. God is in those who do His will. God exists in a special way in intelligent beings who know and love Him, in real terms.

Humans know the existence of God, because humans try to seek and have met God. However, humans know the existence of God, because God is present and introduces His existence to humans. Humans do not have the ability physically, mentally and logically to know the process of the occurrence of the universe and life on this earth.

The universe and all living things, including humans, prove that there was a beginning of life that had the power to make things that don't exist exist. The beginning of that life, which we know as God. God is the beginning of life, who created all that exists. In Revelation 22:13, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the First and the Last".

The only references that become references to know the existence of God, are the writings of writers whose lives have been related to God since the beginning of human life. Then the writings about God and His creation were summarized and written in full by Moses because God used Moses to save mankind so that they could worship God.

Can the existence of God show that God has a physical being? From the description of God's existence, it can be seen from the 3 ways above, it can be concluded that God is the Spirit of Life who has the energy and power to show His physique according to His will. The existence and presence of God can be in the form of human physical, physical fire, physical cloud. God can also show His existence in intangible physical forms such as sound, light, and wind. This is what is known that the presence of God is Omnipresent. There are so many writings in the Bible that show that the presence and existence of God can be seen from His power to make everything from nothing into existence. For example the story of the Wedding Feast at Cana (John 2:1-11) where Jesus turned water into wine.
